The Rock Cats will host the 2013 Eastern League All-Star Game at New Britain Stadium.
Top players from the 12 Double A league teams will participate the July 10, 2013 game, which also features community events beginning July 9, the team said Wednesday.
“This is going to be a terrific event for baseball fans and families throughout the region and we look forward to showcasing the future stars of major league baseball right here at New Britain Stadium,” Rock Cats owner Josh Solomon said in a statement.
The Rock Cats are the minor-league affiliate of the big-league Minnesota Twins.
