CT report: Investor relations pay up in 2010

With the stock market rebounding, so is pay for corporate executives in Connecticut and elsewhere whose job is to liaison with investors, a Westport compensation study shows.

Pay for investor relations professions bounced back notably in 2010, according to a comprehensive examination of investor relations compensation and budgets from Rivel Research Group.

Rivel’s report sampled 743 IR professionals working at public companies listed on the Russell 3000 index.

The data will allow firms to compare current trends in salary and bonus structure with peers according to company’s market value, job title and education level, among other factors.
