Newtown’s Horizon Cabinet Door Co. of America says it is seeing a slow but positive shift in business from kitchen and bath remodeling contractors back to levels of the pre-2008 housing slump.
Horizon supplies cabinet doors, drawer fronts, custom moldings, paints, stains and other home- and commercial-remodeling products.
Horizon’s Rick Haylon said Friday the shift reflects improved consumer confidence in the housing market and the economy as a whole.
“Without a doubt, we have seen more business coming back from kitchen and bath remodeling contractors in the last several months,” said Haylon.

The company said it recently launched a new e-commerce site to pitch its products to contractors.
