A Westport-based recovery footwear company has partnered with an NFL football player in offering feedback on its products.
Kane Footwear has entered into a formal partnership with Will Anderson Jr., a Houston Texans defensive end and 2023 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year, as the newest member of the company’s Kane Footwear Athlete roster.
CEO John Gagliardi said Anderson’s insight as a regular user of Kane’s shoes will help provide the company with advice on how it can improve and innovate its footwear for athletes.
Other athletes who have partnered with Kane include endurance athlete Kendall Picado Fallas and Ironman triathlete Joey Miuccio, according to its website.
In March, Kane Footwear debuted Revive OB, an open-back recovery shoe inspired by feedback from NFL players.
