CT realty firm joins Berkshire Hathaway

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices has added another business to its growing list of Connecticut realty firms.

The Warren Buffet-backed company said it has acquired Rubicon Crossings Realty. Rubicon, which until now has operated as a digital office in East Hartford, has 11 agents and is led by Rob Rosa.

The team will join Berkshire’s Wethersfield office, which is overseen by Patricia Deperry.

It’s the second acquisition of a Connecticut realty office by HomeServices, which purchased Prudential Connecticut Realty last year and changed its name.

Berkshire has more than 50 offices across the state, with more than 1,500 Realtors.
