A Westport-based real estate investment firm has bought a four-story, 129-room EVEN Hotel in Norwalk from a New York real estate investor.
V2 Capital Management has acquired the 56,769-square-foot property from 6R Capital Group, according to Hunter Hotel Advisors, an Atlanta-based hotel broker that represented the seller in the Sept. 15 deal. Spencer Davidson, Hunter’s senior vice president, facilitated the transaction.
Hunter would not disclose the sale price. Emails to V2 and 6R were not immediately returned.
The city’s property records list 426 Main Ave LLC, of New York, controlled by Robert Chitty and Even Real Estate Holding LLC of Atlanta, as the owner since 2013. The connection between 6R and 426 Main Ave LLC wasn’t immediately clear.
The hotel, which was built in 1987 and sits on 2 acres, was appraised at $12.3 million and assessed at $8.63 million in 2023.
Hunter said the hotel is adjacent to Merritt 7 Corporate Park and close to several Norwalk-based corporations, Norwalk Hospital and the Maritime Aquarium. It features 746 square feet of meeting space, a fitness center and a full-service restaurant.
Davidson said the property is in a high barrier-to-entry market, offering long-term growth potential.
