Connecticut’s technology investment arm has put another $500,000 into a Stamford maker of a patented spray lubricant.
LiQuifix Inc. got the Connecticut Innovations Inc. investment as part of a $1 million funding round that also involved LaunchCapital and other unnamed investors, authorities said.
Connecticut’s investment also is in the form of a $125,000 loan from the state Department of Community and Economic Development.
LiQuifix makes “green,” non-toxic lubricants and degreasers for commercial as well as consumer use.
Initial large customers include Ford Motor Co., The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, Union Pacific Railroad, Massport, which runs Logan Airport in Boston, and the U.S. military, authorities said.
CI has a seat on LiQuifix’s board.
