A Greenwich private equity firm announced it has sold a New Jersey biotech consulting firm to a Pennsylvania pharmaceutical company.
Amulet Capital Partners, which is focused exclusively on health care, has divested Parsippany, New Jersey-based SSI Strategy to Clinigen, which is headquartered in Malvern, Pennsylvania.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Amulet in December 2020 acquired SSI, which is a consulting firm that works with biotech and drug companies on how they develop medicines and manage patient safety. Amulet has about $3.1 billion in assets under management and is investing out of its third fund, which closed in July 2024 with roughly $1.2 billion in capital commitments.
Guggenheim Securities and Harris Williams acted as financial advisors to SSI on the transaction, and Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP provided legal counsel.
