A Greenwich private equity firm has raised $400 million for its first fund, exceeding its target by $100 million.
Point 41 Capital Partners said it closed its inaugural vehicle, Point 41 Capital Partners I L.P., and is already deploying capital. The firm has invested in several companies so far including Georgia Water and Fire Restoration of Cummings, Ga., and Interstate AC & Heating and Statewide Roofing, both of New York.
Founded in 2022 by longtime colleagues Aaron Wolfe and Jordan Wadsworth, Point 41 focuses on middle-market specialty industrial and service businesses.
The firm targets North American companies with enterprise values between $50 million and $350 million, particularly founder- and family-owned businesses or complex situations such as corporate carve-outs.
Other portfolio companies listed on its website include Anchor Heating & Air Co. of Atlanta, Bates Mechanical Inc., and Property Medics of Georgia.
