A Stamford-based private equity firm has agreed to acquire a majority stake in a national fiber infrastructure services provider.
Olympus Partners said it signed a definitive agreement to buy a controlling interest in Network Connex from ORIX Capital Partners. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Network Connex, based in Downers Grove, Illinois, provides fiber installation and related services for data centers, cloud operators and large enterprises. Its work supports network infrastructure used in data processing and storage, including facilities tied to artificial intelligence and high-capacity computing.
The company operates across North America, with a presence in major data center markets.
The deal is expected to close following regulatory approvals and customary conditions.
