A Brookfield manufacturer of Allison Transmission parts for heavy-duty pickup trucks has bought a warehouse for $2.76 million, according to property records.
61 Commerce Realty LLC, controlled by Anthony DeFeo of Ridgefield, bought the 20,248-square-foot building at 61 Commerce Road in mid-January. An email to DeFeo, the owner of Xcalliber Transmissions, was not immediately returned.
DeFeo has owned a 15,580-square-foot, two-story commercial building since 2006 that houses Xcalliber’s manufacturing facility and headquarters nearby at 115 Commerce Road. He has owned a 22,232-square-foot, two-story commercial building at 30 Pocono Road in Brookfield since 2019 that serves as a warehouse for Xcalliber, according to property records and the company’s website.
The seller of the Commerce Road building is AB Realty Real Estate Holdings LLC, controlled by Bharat Monpara of Pennsylvania. He bought the building, which housed AB Electronics before it moved to Danbury last year, for $2.06 million in 2023. His son, Akash Bompara, is the president of AB Electronics.
The building, which sits on 1.44 acres and was built in 1984, was appraised at $1.54 million and assessed at $1.08 million in 2025.
