State and economic officials are looking for ideas to help area entrepreneurs.
Connecticut Innovations (CI) and the state’s Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) have issued a request for proposals to companies, nonprofits and individuals seeking ideas on how to create pathways for entrepreneurs, help innovative companies grow faster and improve entrepreneurs’ connections with universities, economic development organizations and other resources.
CTNext, a public-private partnership, has already helped fund 11 entities, and officials say interest in entrepreneurial community events has expanded.
