CT offers biz clean-energy opportunities

Connecticut businesses interested in clean energy projects are invited to a forum Jan. 5 to detail the opportunities under the state’s new energy policy.

The Connecticut Energy Finance & Investment Authority, the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund, and the Renewable Energy & Efficiency Association, Inc. are hosting the matching session with clean energy providers and potential customers to help maximize the state’s new energy incentives.

The 4 p.m. forum Jan. 5 at the Marriott Rocky Hill on 100 Capitol Boulevard is open to companies, colleges, municipalities, institutions and landowners. To register, visit www.reeba.org.

In June, Connecticut approved an energy policy reform bill that, among many other things, seeks to make the state a leader in the clean energy industry. Included in that plan are several financial incentives for businesses to build or promote renewable energy and efficiency projects.
