The former Connecticut Association of Mortgage Brokers has a new name, Web address and executive director.
Vincent Valvo is now executive director of the renamed Connecticut Mortgage Association, www.ctmortgages.org.
“… The mortgage world has evolved, the association needs to evolve with it,” association President Chris Aniskovich said in a statement Thursday announcing the changes.
The association hired Agility Resources Group LLC of West Hartford, of which Valvo is CEO, to manage and grow the organization, officials said.
Valvo is former editor of the Hartford Business Journal and HBJ Today, and most recently was group publisher and editor-in-chief for Boston media and information vendor, The Warren Group.
