Two Connecticut state senators will host a summit Friday morning in Manchester for small manufacturers to learn how the state’s pending jobs bills applies directly to them.
Senators Gary LeBeau (D-East Hartford) and Steve Cassano (D-Manchester) are hosting the Jobs Bill Summit for small manufacturers who employ 50 or fewer people.
The program will include officials from the departments of Economic and Community Development and the Labor to detail existing and new programs, tax credits and $180 million in funding for small businesses.
The free event is 10 a.m. Friday at the Manchester Community College SBM Charitable Donation Auditorium on 60 Bidwell St.
