A Stamford-based firm that provides public relations for the healthcare sector has acquired a Miami-based medical education company.
The Lockwood Group — which owns market access company Nexus Health, medical education company Ideology Health and pharma-focused digital animation firm Random42 — has bought Research To Practice.
The deal’s financial terms were not disclosed.
Research To Practice provides oncology-focused medical education for healthcare professionals. The company, founded four decades ago by medical oncologist Dr. Neil Love, creates content and formats for live symposia, regional and local meetings, audio/video podcasts, multimedia webinars and roundtables, and other interactive formats.
