Connecticut single-family home sales ticked up by 3.2 percent in March, but the market experienced its first decline in median price since June 2012, according to the Warren Group.
There were 1,583 homes sold during the month, up from 1,534 a year ago. It was the state’s eleventh consecutive month of volume gains.
Meanwhile, the median price fell from $245,000 to $225,000, an 8.2 percent drop. Warren Group CEO Timothy Warren said in a statement that the drop is likely an aberration.
Condo sales volume increased 8.1 percent in March, with 442 sales. The median price for condos fell 3.5 percent, to $154,500.
