Greenwich Hospitality Group, the Stamford-based company behind the Delamar hotel collection, has acquired the ground lease for the historic Exeter Inn in Exeter, New Hampshire, marking the luxury boutique operator’s first expansion into the Granite State.
Land records filed March 23 with the Rockingham County Registry of Deeds show that Haycreek Exeter Partners I LLC has assigned its interest in the property to Delamar Exeter LLC, a Delaware limited liability company managed by Charles Mallory’s Mallory Group NE LLC.
Mallory is the founder of Greenwich Hospitality Group, which owns and operates a portfolio of boutique hotels, restaurants and spas across Connecticut and Michigan under the Delamar Hotel Collection brand.
Land records show the deal was financed by a $4.3 million loan from Bank of New Hampshire.
The Exeter Inn has 46 rooms and sits on land owned by Phillips Exeter Academy, a college preparatory school.
The deal comes as Greenwich Hospitality has seen aggressive growth. The company added two Connecticut properties in 2025 — Delamar Mystic, a 31-room waterfront boutique hotel that opened in early 2025 in the historic Mystic maritime district, and Delamar Westport, which features 86 rooms and opened in July 2025 on the site of the former Westport Inn.
Greenwich Hospitality also operates the Inn at Longshore, a waterfront property in Westport it acquired in 2020, along with Delamar West Hartford and Delamar Southport.
