The Connecticut Lottery Corp. said it has launched its first mobile app, which allows bettors to scan tickets to check for winners.
The free app, which debuted last week and is available on the App Store and Google Play, was built by longtime vendor Scientific Games International.
A handful of other state lotteries, including those in Pennsylvania and South Carolina, use similar SGI smartphone apps.
