New Haven law firm Wiggin and Dana LLP has opened a China practice, led by corporate partner David Schaffer, whom it says is headed there on a 10-day investment mission later this week.
The China practice will focus on a wide range of industries and vertical markets, including information technology, life sciences, biotechnology, healthcare, manufacturing, outsourcing, clean technology and financial services, officials said.
The firm claims more than 140 lawyers in its Connecticut, New York and Philadelphia offices.
