The state recently launched a new online public meeting calendar that displays state agencies’ public meetings in one, centralized location. The Secretary of the State’s Office developed it in partnership with Connecticut Interactive as part of the state’s digital government initiative.
All public state agencies are statutorily required to post public meetings through the Secretary of the State’s office. The new online public meeting calendar application replaces a paper-based approval process and allows agencies to create events instantly and post their meetings electronically through a single, statewide system. The tool also tracks event changes allowing agencies to meet standard FOIA requirements.
The website can display all meetings for a day, week or month.
