Southington’s Winterberry Landscape & Garden Center needs about 25 seasonal, full-time workers and has set a pair of mid-February hiring fairs to elicit candidates.
Winterberry’s job fairs are set for Thur. Feb. 12, from 3 to 7 p.m., and Valentine’s Day, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., at its headquarters at 2070 West St. The snow date is Sunday, Feb. 15, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“We are growing and expanding at an incredible pace,” said Winterberry co-owner Scot Leavitt.
Among positions to be filled: operations manager; crew foreman; masons; administrative slots; landscaping laborers; fence installers; service technician; irrigation foreman and laborers; growers; salespeople; and pump technician.
