Three Connecticut shoreline technology startups have gotten $450,000 in pre-seed funding from the state’s technology investment arm.
Connecticut Innovations Inc. put $150,000 each into Arcanatura LLC in Groton; C8 Sciences (formerly BeCaid LLC) in New Haven; and Medical Device Logistics LLC in Stonington.
Arcanatura is developing an all-natural flea and tick repellant for dogs, cats and horses.
C8 Sciences is working up a set of computer games aimed at improving the learning skills of children with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, or ADHD.Â
Medical Device Logistics is developing a trading network through which hospitals and surgical centers can buy or sell medical implants and surgical devices that are considered idle inventory.
