CT Innovations revamps logo, website

The state’s quasi-public authority that provides financing and strategic assistance to businesses has launched a new brand logo and website, it announced.

Connecticut Innovations’ brand revamp — which it hopes will bring greater awareness of its services — comes a year after its merger with the Connecticut Development Authority and three years after the addition of its Small Business Innovation Group.

Previously, CI and the CDA had separate websites. Now, information on all related programs is on the revamped site.

CI’s portfolio has been growing fast since the passage of the state’s 2011 Jobs Bill. It is the state’s most active early-stage investor, and is now providing funding to 91 such companies
