CT Innovations nets $95K grant

For the third year in a row, Connecticut Innovations will receive a grant from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) to provide outreach and assistance to small technology businesses.

Governors in all 50 states each nominate one organization for the $95,000 grant, which falls under a program called Federal and State Technology (FAST) partnership. This year, the SBA awarded 20 grants.

Connecticut Innovations, a quasi-public entity that invests in and assists businesses, will help area companies access two major grant programs run by the SBA — the Small Business Innovation Research program and the Small Business Technology Transfer program.
