Connecticut households have until June 30 to apply for $1 million in state emergency energy assistance for oil, gas and electric bills.
Operation Fuel is taking applications from qualified families and seniors whose household incomes for a family of four fall within the $33,075 to $44,100 range of the federal poverty level.
Families and senior can call 211 to verify eligibility and obtain the name of their closest Operation Fuel energy bank. Payments are made directly to the utility or fuel provider.Â
