CT home-health operator sold to N.Y. firm

A Bufffalo, N.Y., home health care operator has expanded into Connecticut with its acquisition of former Patient’s Choice Home Care.

Willcare has expanded operations into Wethersfield, New Haven, Trumbull and Waterbury. Terms were not disclosed.

Willcare provides in-home nursing, rehabilitative therapies, aide and support services.

Mary Orluk, formerly Patient’s Choice administrator, is regional administrator for Willcare’s Connecticut locations.  

Willcare employs more than 2,000 from 14 branch offices and five recruitment/training sites in Connecticut, New York and Ohio.
