CT home cash sales fell in April

The ratio of all-cash home sales across Connecticut declined in April, according to Corelogic.

Of the total sales that month, 32 percent were in cash. That’s down from 36 percent in April 2014.

It was the highest of any New England state tracked by Corelogic. Maine and New Hampshire both had 29 percent cash sales, while Massachusetts had 25 percent. Rhode Island and Vermont were not tracked.

The national average in April was 33.7 percent, down from 37.4 percent a year prior.
