Businesses, universities and public officials are set to gather in Montville to discuss ways to win federal funding and promote research and development, The Associated Press reports.
The gathering scheduled for Tuesday at the Mohegan Sun casino in eastern Connecticut will feature companies such as The Boeing Co., Sikorsky Aircraft and the federal departments of Energy and Defense. The meeting is scheduled to extend through Thursday.
The gathering will offer information about how to obtain more than $2.4 billion in federal funding for research and development, opportunities to find business partners and exporting tips with representatives of the governments of Canada, China, India, Israel and the United Kingdom.
