Connecticut’s largest franchise company, Subway, slipped from second to third place in Entrepreneur magazine’s recently released Franchise 500 ranking for 2014.
The Milford sandwich restaurant wasn’t the only Connecticut franchises to drop in the annual ranking, which judges participating franchises on their financial strength, stability growth rate and size.
Wallingford’s Edible Arrangements fell from 40 to 43, and Middletown’s Wireless Zone fell from 148 to 214.
