Due to heavy volume, the state’s labor agency is extending call-center hours and will be open Monday, President’s Day, to handle new and open claims for unemployment benefits.
Connecticut Department of Labor’s TeleBenefits call centers will run from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday.
To further assist callers, call centers are open extended hours the rest of this week, from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, and 7:30 to 4:30 p.m. Friday.
