Superior Equipment and Supplies has purchased a 5,512-square-foot industrial building in Southington, at 1198 West St., for $1.4 million, according to O,R&L Commercial.
The company plans to use the property, which sits on 4.37 acres, for its ongoing business operations, the brokerage said. The seller, John Keegan of Engineered Construction LLC, sold the property as he prepares for retirement.
According to its website, Superior Equipment and Supplies provides equipment and supplies to contractors and builders and has operated in Connecticut since 1967. The company has showrooms in Southington, Danbury, East Hartford, Norwich, Bridgeport and Seymour.
As of 2025, the West Street property, which was built in 2009, had an appraised value of $528,860, town records show.
O,R&L said broker Luke Massirio represented the seller and Mark Berkowitz represented the buyer.
