Connecticut Electric Car will host its first Let Your Geek Ride Rip Event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday in West Hartford.
The electric car company will team up with Whole Foods Market to present a free information session on environmentally-friendly vehicles for potential buyers and current owners interested in learning more about charging their cars.
The event will feature vehicles available to test drive, including hybrids, 100 percent electric, bio-diesel, and conventional cars with over 45 miles per gallon. The festivities will take place in Trout Brook Park at 101 Trout Brook Drive behind the Whole Foods Market in Blue Back Square.
Connecticut Electric Car is a division of Newington Electric Co., installer of residential and commercial car charging stations, including one in Blue Back Square.
