A Connecticut dairy cooperative is adding ice cream to its line of fresh, hormone-free dairy products.
The Farmer’s Cow plans to launch its ice cream line in time for the yearend holiday season, and is inviting the public to choose six of the initial flavors.
Some or all of its milk, cream, eggs, half-and-half, lemonade and apple cider are sold in Stop & Shop, Big Y, Shaw’s and other supermarkets.
The six farms are: Mapleleaf Farm in Hebron; Hytone Farm, Coventry; Fort Hill Farms, Thompson; Cushman Farms, Franklin; Graywall Farms, Franklin; and Fairvue Farms, Woodstock.
