CT Constitution frisbee team spins out

The fledgling Connecticut Constitution “ultimate frisbee” franchise has indefinitely halted operations amid legal acrimony over team franchise territories, authorities say.

The New Britain team’s CEO Bryan Ricci announced Thursday in the indefinite suspension early into the new league’s inaugural season.

The team’s home games were based at Arute Field at Central Connecticut State University.

Ricci said a suit filed against the Constitution and a Rhode Island franchise is consuming a large, unspecified sum of cash as it attempts to protect its rights in the territorial dispute
