Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford has named Dr. Juan C. Salazar to the position of physician in chief.
Salazar is a professor of pediatrics and immunology at the University of Connecticut Health Center and is director of Connecticut Children’s Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases and the Pediatrics Youth HIV program.
With the new title, he will continue to hold his clinical and research duties.
