CT casinos report slots revenue down again

Connecticut’s two casinos say figures on November slot machine revenues show the trend of dropping from 2007 levels is continuing.

Figures from Foxwoods Resort Casino show its slot machine take for last month at $54.5 million, a decrease of $4.5 million from November 2007.

The Foxwoods figures represent a drop of about 7 percent from last year.

At the Mohegan Sun, slot machines yielded $66.7 million in profits last month. The $3.2 million decline from November 2007 equals about 5.2 percent.

Under agreements with the state, Foxwoods’ take will mean a $13.6 million contribution to the state. Mohegan Sun’s contribution will be about $16.7 million. (AP)
