East Hartford-based CareCentrix, a manager of home health care services, is opening a new facility in Overland Park, Kan., creating 150 jobs.
The company plans to hire 90 employees by February, according to information filed with the Overland Park City Council. The council recently signed off on the company’s plan to sublease a portion of wireless provider Sprint Nextel Corp.’s headquarters campus.
CareCentrix, which serves about 20 million clients, also has locations in Melville, N.Y.; Tampa, Fla.; Phoenix; and Albuquerque, N.M.
The company says its revenue should increase from $360 million this year to more than $500 million next year because of new contracts. (AP)
