Stratford brewery Two Roads Brewing, which distributes throughout Connecticut and beyond, said event goers who pony up for suite-level seats at Bridgeport’s Webster Bank Arena will be able to order its beer in “growlers.”
The 32-ounce and 64-ounce bottles can be kept and refilled at the arena or later at Two Roads’ brewery three miles away.
The arena’s food vendor, Stamford-based Centerplate — which also services New Britain Stadium — will use a system called The Growler Station to fill the glass bottles. The system replaces oxygen in the empty bottle with carbon dioxide before filling, which Two Roads said helps the product last up to 45 days.
