Restaurant group expands into Manhattan with full-service restaurant and grab-and-go concept.
The Granola Bar, a Connecticut-based restaurant chain, will open two locations in Midtown Manhattan on July 9, marking its return to New York City.
The company is opening a 2,500-square-foot full-service restaurant at 330 Madison Ave., near Grand Central Terminal, along with a 1,000-square-foot grab-and-go concept, The Granola Bar Takeaway, at 22 E. 43rd St.
The flagship restaurant will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner service, while the takeaway location will focus on coffee, prepared foods, sandwiches, salads and other grab-and-go items. Both locations will also sell the company's packaged granola and granola bars.
Founded by Julie Mountain and Dana Noorily, The Granola Bar operates 10 locations across Connecticut, Westchester County, Long Island and New York City, including the two new Manhattan locations.
