The 125-room Hampton Inn Shelton has sold for $17.5 million, according to the city’s land records.
V2 Capital Management, a Westport-based real estate investment firm doing business V2 Capital Shelton LLC, has bought the six-story, 84,000-square-foot hotel located at 695 Bridgeport Ave.
The seller was 695 Bridgeport Hotel LLC, whose principal is not identified in state records. The LLC traces back to another limited liability company, SS Hotels Fund LLC, which is not registered in Connecticut. Both LLCs have Spokane Valley, Washington business addresses.
695 Bridgeport Hotel LLC bought the hotel, which sits on 3.06 acres and was built in 1998, in 2022 for $10.5 million.
It was assessed this year at $5.21 million, property records show.
According to its website, V2 Capital invests in hospitality properties in the Northeast valued between $10 million and $30 million. It focuses on distressed, value-add and stabilized properties, the firm said.
