Stamford-based ReFocus Eye Health, a private equity-backed management services organization for ophthalmology practices, has acquired New View Eye Center, a Virginia-based provider of laser eye surgery.
Terms of the deal weren’t released.
ReFocus Eye Health, which was founded by New York private equity firm Zenyth Partners, serves as an MSO for 79 ophthalmology practices in eight states.
The company is headquartered at 600 Summer St., in Stamford, and has its corporate offices at 87 Grandview Ave., in Waterbury. It owns nearly 20 practices in Connecticut.
New View Eye Center is a full-service ophthalmic practice with two offices in Virginia that offer injectable aesthetic services, eyelid rejuvenation surgery, advanced cataract surgeries and diabetic eye treatments.
