U.S. Attorney Deirdre Daly for Connecticut has been appointed by U.S. Attorney General Loretta E. Lynch to the federal Attorney General’s Advisory Committee.

Daly joins Appellate Chief Sandra Glover for Connecticut as the only two Connecticut members of the 21-person committee that advises Lynch on how to combat crime and violence in America by suggesting new policies and strategies.

Daly was appointed by President Barack Obama as the U.S. attorney for Connecticut and was sworn in on May 28, having served in an acting capacity since May 2013.
