The state Department of Energy & Environmental Protection has arranged another meet-and-greet event for businesses selling microgrid products to find companies and those wanting to install them.
The event is set for 5:30 p.m. Wednesday Feb. 19 at the DEEP offices at 79 Elm St. in Hartford. The Renewable Energy & Efficiency Business Association is co-sponsoring the event.
Connecticut in 2011 started pushing for more microgrids able to power critical facilities during widespread outages. Last year, the state approved grants for microgrids in nine communities.
