A national specialty pharmacy that provides infusions and other therapies to treat rare diseases is opening its first East Coast location in Enfield.
CSI Pharmacy, based in Nash, Texas, will open the facility in a 4,000-square-foot building at 281 Hazard Ave. It will be the company’s second in the nation.
The company said it plans to open a third location soon and expects to receive more state pharmacy licensures in the coming months.Â
“We are working carefully to solidify our national presence by building a robust pharmacy network,” said Randy Broyles, chief operating officer of CSI Pharmacy. “Connecticut offers a prime location for us to begin moving toward that goal.”
The company, founded in 2014, provides treatments with biologics and plasma-derived therapies.
