Watertown bottled-water distributor Crystal Rock has expanded its beverage line into coffee.
The 96-year-old company known for its Crystal Rock and Vermont Pure Natural Spring bottled waters says its Cool Beans coffee line is being introduced to 100,000 homes and offices in its New England and Northeast territory.
It offers 21 coffee varieties, including regular, decaffeinated and flavored, said Crystal Rock CEO Peter Baker.
Cool Beans also has been chosen as the official coffee of the New Britain Rock Cats, the Minnesota Twins’ Double A affiliate, Baker said. New distribution channels, including convenience stores, are on deck, he said.
Crystal Rock said the Cool Beans brand was developed and is being marketed by its agency of record, The Worx Group of Prospect.
