Watertown distributor Crystal Rock said it’s adding a product to its water and coffee offerings aimed at the office dieters and gym rats — protein water.
The company will distribute trimino, a beverage created by Branford-based Miami Bay Beverage Co. that comes in four sugar-free flavors. A 16-ounce bottle has 7 grams of protein and 28 calories, as well as Vitamin B.
Crystal Rock CEO Peter Baker said in a statement that the company’s customers are asking for healthier beverage options.
“Trimino gives us the flexibility to open new doors and strengthen our portfolio with larger commercial accounts and health clubs,” Baker said.
