Cromwell life sciences firm inks distribution deal

Cromwell’s Biological Industries, a developer and distributor of cell culture media used to grow human and animal cells, said it has added to its offerings through a new distribution partnership with a Wisconsin company.

BI, an Israeli company that set up its local storage and distribution facility several years ago, said it has signed a non-exclusive deal to distribute Primorigen’s protein matrix for stem cell culture, called Vitronectin XF.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“BI-USA’s products and dedication to the stem cell and regenerative medicine fields nicely complement Primorigen’s, and will enable the scientific community to further leverage the many benefits of Vitronectin XF,” Primorigen CEO Chuck Oehler said in a statement.
