Credit watchdog offers counseling software

Credit System Design, a division of West Haven-based Credit Bureau of Connecticut, said it will make its credit analysis program, Deal Maker Score, available to credit reporting clients who use its mortgage origination software. The program shows mortgage originators how to instruct borrowers on ways to improve their credit scores, presenting that information as a step-by-step plan. An executive with the company said credit counseling products are good for both lenders and borrowers, since they allow lenders to close more deals, and borrowers to improve their rates.
