The Credit Union League of Connecticut said it has hired Jill Nowacki, a former executive at the Credit Union National Association as well as several individual credit unions, as president and CEO.
Nowacki replaces Tony Emerson, who left the Meriden-based league earlier this year for a CEO job at a Massachusetts credit union.
Nowacki most recently worked for Maps Credit Union in Oregon as vice president of development and as executive director of its community foundation.
The league provides advocacy and other services for Connecticut credit unions.
